After sharing a deeply personal health update, Vanessa Trump is back in the public eye — and fans cannot stop talking about the emotional mother-daughter moment she just had with Kai Trump.
Just days after revealing her breast cancer diagnosis, Vanessa Trump was spotted enjoying a relaxed shopping trip with Kai in West Palm Beach, Florida. The outing marked her first public appearance since opening up about her health battle, and the photos quickly sparked an outpouring of support online.
Vanessa, 48, first addressed her condition in an Instagram post on May 20, explaining that she had recently undergone a medical procedure and was now focused on recovery. While she initially kept details private, she later confirmed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote.
In her message, Vanessa shared that she is working closely with doctors and following a treatment plan while leaning on her family for strength during the difficult period. She also thanked supporters for their kindness and requested privacy as she continues her recovery journey.
Many people flooded the comments section with messages of support, including Ivanka Trump, who wrote: “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.”

Only days later, Vanessa appeared upbeat while spending time with Kai, 19, during a casual mall outing in West Palm Beach on May 24.
Vanessa kept her look simple in a light blue button-down shirt and jeans, while Kai wore a white top, cream cardigan, jeans, and sneakers.
The pair appeared especially close throughout the outing, walking arm-in-arm at times and smiling as they moved through the shopping center. Fans immediately noticed not only their bond, but also how much the two resemble one another.
“I must say the daughter is just as pretty as her mother, look so much a lot [sic],” one Facebook user wrote.
