DHS Moves Forward With Citizenship Verification Plan as Trump Pushes Election Integrity Agenda

The Department of Homeland Security is moving forward with a new election integrity initiative that would allow states to verify voter citizenship through federal databases while also increasing oversight of mail-in ballot systems nationwide.

According to recent court filings, DHS approved the plan last week and expects implementation efforts to begin
