Ella Travolta joins father John Travolta at Cannes – and everyone is saying the same thing

Two years after Jett’s heartbreaking death, Ella became a sister again when her brother Benjamin was born on November 23, 2011.

Despite the tragedies, Ella has steadily built her own path in Hollywood. In Propeller One-Way Night Coach,”written and directed by her father, she plays a flight attendant in a heartfelt story adapted from John’s 1997 book. The film marks his directorial debut and is scheduled for release on Apple TV on May 29, 2026.

Ella has collaborated with her father before, including roles in The Poison Rose alongside Morgan Freeman and the upcoming thriller Black Tides, directed by Renny Harlin.

John has often spoken lovingly about his daughter over the years.

”She is her own person. She is gracious, generous, poised, graceful and gorgeous. I don’t know how she came to be, and I don’t take any credit other than just adoring her.”

He once added:

”I really do believe that children have rights. Just because they are little bodies doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t have a say-so.”

By the time the Cannes appearances wrapped up, one thing was clear — Ella Bleu Travolta was no longer simply accompanying her famous father. She stood confidently in her own spotlight, while also reminding many fans of the woman the world still remembers fondly.
