Jennifer Lopez, 56, sparks heated plastic surgery debate after new photos emerge

Jennifer Lopez is facing speculation about her appearance after stepping onto the red carpet for the New York premiere of her upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, Office Romance.

The singer and actress, 56, arrived at the June 2 premiere wearing a pale pink corset gown by Miss Sohee Couture. While many fans praised her glamorous look, others quickly turned their attention to something else.

Photos and videos from the event spread across social media, with some users questioning whether Lopez had undergone cosmetic procedures.

“She’s showing off her implants obviously,” one person wrote.

Another asked: “When do these people even have time to recover from all this plastic surgery?”

Not everyone agreed. Many fans rushed to Lopez’s defense, arguing that her appearance is the result of good genetics, fitness and a strict beauty routine rather than cosmetic surgery.

Lopez has repeatedly denied having surgery

Speculation surrounding Lopez’s appearance is nothing new. Over the years, the star has repeatedly been accused of using Botox, fillers or other cosmetic procedures. However, Lopez has consistently denied those claims.

Back in 2021, she responded directly after an Instagram user claimed she had “definitely” received Botox.

“LOL that’s just my face!!! For the 500 millionth time… I have never done Botox or any injectable or surgery!!” Lopez replied.

She later explained that she has no issue with people choosing cosmetic procedures but prefers to focus on skincare. Lopez has launched her own skincare line – JLO Beauty – and concerns about her trying to sell the idea that her products play a key role in the maintenance of her youthful appearance are raised by plastic surgeon Gary Linkov.

“I don’t like that she goes out and says, you know, ‘Nothing happened, it’s just my skincare line.’ That’s just not very honest,” Dr. Linkov says in one of his videos.

Lopez has previously said that she wants to maintain her appearance naturally for as long as possible.
