In August 2025, a viral social media post claimed that German scientists had created an injectable gel capable of regrowing damaged cartilage without surgery.
According to the post, the gel could supposedly:

- Eliminate the need for joint replacement surgery
- Require no rehabilitation or medication
- Carry no risk of rejection
- Receive Europe-wide approval by 2026
The story quickly spread online and was presented as a revolutionary cure for osteoarthritis. But how accurate are these claims?
