The hydrogel:

• Has only been tested in animal models
• Has not yet proven effectiveness in humans
• Was implanted surgically rather than injected during a simple clinic visit
• Has not been shown to fully heal human osteoarthritis within 60 days

2. The Real German Product: ChondroFiller®

A real German cartilage repair product called ChondroFiller® does exist.

Developed by Meidrix Biomedicals in Germany, it has been available in Europe since 2013 and carries CE certification.

ChondroFiller® is:

• A collagen-based hydrogel scaffold
• Used for small cartilage defects
• Applied during arthroscopic or minimally invasive surgery

It is not a simple injection performed without medical procedures.
