From ‘America’s Mayor’ to Trump Ally
After leaving office, Giuliani’s political ambitions didn’t stop. He ran for president in 2007, initially leading in the polls before his campaign faltered during the primaries. Over time, he pivoted toward commentary and advisory roles, eventually becoming a central figure in Trump’s political orbit.
As a close ally and former personal attorney to Trump, Giuliani played a key role in efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 election. Those efforts led to numerous legal battles, including defamation judgments and ongoing financial disputes. Despite the controversies, Trump continued to publicly praise Giuliani — at one point calling him “a True Warrior” and celebrating his loyalty.

What Happened Before This? A Serious Crash in 2025
This isn’t the first time Giuliani’s health has raised alarm. In August 2025, he was injured in a high-speed car accident in New Hampshire, where his vehicle was struck from behind, according to CNN.
At the time, Giuliani had reportedly stopped to help a woman involved in a domestic violence incident and had called 911 before the crash occurred. The collision left him with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg.
